By accessing the platform, users confirm that:

• They are legally of age (18 years or older), or a parent/legal guardian provides consent for minors.
• The information provided during registration and consultation is true and accurate.
• The service is not to be used for emergency or life-threatening situations. In such cases, users must contact emergency services (911 in Mexico) or proceed to the nearest hospital.

3. Service Limitations

Vacation Doctor Online is a telemedicine platform offering remote clinical assessment and advice.

• The service is intended for patients located within Mexico at the time of consultation.
• It cannot replace emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
• Connectivity or system failures may affect appointments; such cases will be eligible for rescheduling at no additional charge.
• All services are governed under Mexican jurisdiction, regardless of the user’s nationality.

4. Informed Consent

Before beginning any telemedicine consultation, the patient must give explicit informed consent to treatment via remote means. All interactions, diagnoses, and prescriptions will be recorded in the patient’s medical file according to NOM-004-SSA3-2012 (Clinical Records) and NOM-024-SSA3-2012 (Electronic Health Record Systems). Consent is documented digitally before the session begins.

5. Data Protection and Privacy

Vacation Doctor Online operates under the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

8. Payments and Cancellations

Payments must be completed before the consultation.
Appointments not attended within 15 minutes of the scheduled time may be marked as “no-show” without refund, except in cases of documented technical failure or medical emergency.
In the event of a service disruption caused by the platform or the physician, a rescheduled consultation will be provided at no cost.
